Working with Essential Oils seasonally is a great way to benefit from the wisdom of nature while staying connected to its rhythms. These are a few of the oils we reach for in the Summer (pssssst! 25% off!), and some of the ways we like to enjoy them.
Evoking vibes of coyote song and crackling campfire under a sea of blazing stars, our Cedarwood Essential Oil has a grounding, fortifying quality, reminiscent of the best camping trips. Blend 6 drops of Cedarwood with 3 drops each Rosemary and Lemon Essential Oils in a diffuser for a Summery, bright, woody scent that both relaxes and uplifts.
Crisp and refreshing, like a dip in the ocean followed by a nap on line-dried linen sheets, our Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil is a hot weather tonic. Put a couple of drops of Eucalyptus on a towel spritzed with water and place it in the freezer. Once the frozen towel is ready, remove and place across neck or over face and inhale the cooling aroma, allowing it to help balance your emotions and awaken your mind.
Like a Summertime plunge in a glacier-fed lake, our organic Peppermint Essential Oil cools and refreshes with bracing precision. Peppermint helps soothe everything from headaches to bug bites and tired muscles. Blend a few drops with a carrier oil or lotion and massage into feet, behind your neck or temples (be sure to avoid eyes and mucous membranes!) and feel instantly revitalized.
Revered for its soothing benefits to body and mind, Lavender is one of the safest, most effective, and versatile Essential Oils in the world. While in the winter we like adding a few drops of Lavender Essential Oil to a warm bath before bed, in the Summer we prefer to place a 10 drops of Lavender into a spray bottle with a cup of distilled water and spritz our sheets and pillow cases. This little trick evokes five star hotel vibes and encourages the dreamiest of sleeps.
Our Essential Oils are organic and sustainably-harvested. They are the result of the close relationships our Founder has created with farmers around the world in his decades-long pursuit of the purest ingredients available. We hope you enjoy their benefits!
