What is Matcha

Simply put, Matcha is finely ground green tea. But not all green tea can be called Matcha. This fine powder is unique because each leaf is shade grown, hand picked and stone ground by tea farmers dedicated to the craft.

The art of cultivating and processing Matcha enhances its nutrient profile, resulting in a tea that's rich in antioxidants, catechins and chlorophyll. Enjoy traditionally, using a Chawan Bowl and Chasen Whisk, at your local cafe, or add to smoothies, savory dishes and baked goods.
